I have found the solution by myself and I leave it here for others which might get into the same situation.
The problem was:
The file cups-pdf was copied by the installer to /var/lib/cups/backend but it is expected at /usr/lib
64/cups/backend
The solution:
Copy the file from /var/lib/cups/backend to /usr/lib
64/cups/backend
After this operation a restart of the cups-System is required and the printer can be configured as mentions in severals docs you can found in the www.
I use a 64Bit installation. The file from the installer was also 64Bit ELF binary.
To check if it is available use lpinfo -v:
