Cups and 3 port network printer

Situation:

HP LaserJet 1320 connected to a Zonet ZPS3603 (3 LPT port print server) LPT1.
Printer installed on FC2 with Cups and shared to Win98 clients through Samba.

During the installation of the network printer the settings were

Device: AppSocket/ HP JetDirect
Device URI: socket://IP_address_of_print_server:9100

I add an HP Deskjet to 695C printer to the print server LPT2 and tried to configure in cups as

Device: AppSocket/ HP JetDirect
Device URI: socket://IP_address_of_print_server:9101

but all print jobs go to the Default printer HP LaserJet 1320.

After doing some reading i learned that "JetDirect" uses port 9100 and "JetDirect EX Plus 3" uses 9100, 9101 and 9102.

Do I need JetDirect EX Plus 3 drivers so I can use all the ports on the print server or is there some other way to install the 3 ports and assign printing devices to them?
