It's difficult to understand what you're asking, but there doesn't appear to be enough information to diagnose whatever issue you're having.

If you read the points at the following link and edit your post with relevant information (including your configuration and error messages), and ideally add some grammar/structure, you'll have a better chance of someone being able to help.

Without a description of the problem and the steps you have taken to solve it, nobody does.

Specific information you should provide:
Quote:

Describe the problem. What do you do, what happens, what did you expect to happen?

Quote:
nothing is working for me
Which instructions did you follow? What did you do? What was the result?

CTDB is documented at https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/CTD...lustered_Samba. I don't see Glusterfs mentioned there. I also found https://download.gluster.org/pub/glu...B_setup.v1.pdf, but it seems to be older than the Red Hat acquisition of Gluster, i.e. 2012. In short, I wonder how well it is supported?

i wanna make ctdb samba cluster with 3 nodes so i installed 3 centos servers with zfs file system and in each node i create bigpool/vol1 bigpool/vol2 and then i istalled glusterfs with replica of 2 to make my gluster volume(tank) node1:/bigpool/vol1 with node2:/bigpool/vol2 and node2:/bigpool/vol1 with /node3:/bigpool/vol2 and finally node3:/bigpool/vol1 with node1:/bigpool/vol2 after that i used this tutorial https://www.server-world.info/en/not...lusterfs8&f=10
i did install ctdb in every server not just in the node1 like he did
ctdb status show me this
Number of nodes:3
pnn:0 192.168.43.81 OK (THIS NODE)
pnn:1 192.168.43.82 OK
pnn:2 192.168.43.83 OK
Generation:1628751371
Size:3
hash:0 lmaster:0
hash:1 lmaster:1
hash:2 lmaster:2
Recovery mode:NORMAL (0)
Recovery master:0
but when i tried to connect to my cluster this is what i get
smbclient //192.168.43.80/gluster-tank -U cent
Enter WORKGROUP\cent's password:
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
by the way i disable the firewall and setenforce 0

I would check the Samba log files. If there is nothing conclusive, raise the debug level. If the problem is related to the connection to Gluster, perhaps you find something in Gluster logs, too.

When searching the internet for tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED, you will get quite a few results. I would have a look at them, too.
