CSS in Debian Sarge 3.1r2

Does Debian Sarge support CSS? I replaced my Redhat AS4 with Debian Sarge. But when i transfered my HTML & CSS files to /var/www of Debian i could no longer see the graphics that i used to see when i was using RH4. Although my page is there but the format is different its all text, i used apache 1.33 ( same as RH4). Do i need to download other dependencies to support CSS. Thanks in advance and i'm a newbie.

hi there,
afaik css has nothing to do with apache. this could be a browser problem.
if you don't see anything formatted could also be a permission problem.

Check the apache logs, chances are good that something is not where Debian's apache is looking for it. /var/log/apache should have both your access and error logs, unless you put them somewhere else. Take a look at the error logs, and you'll most likely find the problem.

peace,

Check your links and file locations.
RH and Debian use different apache dirs.
