Crossover 17 compatibility?

I've seen an advert for the all-new Crossover 17.0.for £30.00. The claim is that it will run Microsoft Office 2016. Now I know there is a difference in running a certain program to running and operating all the various components of the MS-Office Suite. The question is, will it satisfactorily run Publisher as earlier Crossover copies were definitely unable.Just wondered if anyone has put it to the test.

Crossover has a compatibility chart usually with reports. You will see in those reports that users have different kernel and distro in the reports. Crossover puts a lot of code in to wine is my understanding. It has been around for a very long time. If they claim it runs some windows program then I'd tend to believe them. Running and running perfectly are two different things however. :)

The Crossover website has a search for checking compatibility of programs.
