crontab woes!

Hi all

I've been reading up on this and I'm 99% sure I have this right but have a niggling doubt.....

I've got a vpn running and have set up a command in crontab to ping accross the vpn and send me an email - the entry in crontab looks like this

15 * * * * ping -c2 ipaddress | mail -s"Subject" mymail@mydomain.com

As you can see this should run every 15 minutes - but only runs every hour, so my VPN drops and I have to be notified by onsite users/or wait for the hourly message that tells me it's gone down...

Is there anything wrong with my entry?

Cheers

Ifan
