klinkstatus looks like a graphical application and (from a quick look on the website), doesn't seem
to have a useful command line interface that can be started regularly through cron.
A few other options, but I'm sure there are plenty:
W3's link checker: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/
Wget, using --spider option
In schedule link checks i gave my gmail address but it not send email to me but it displays a crashing error.
Though it created html output file in given folder.

Hi, my another system has klinkstatus 3 and i installed klinkstatus (4:4.3.2-1) through
GDebi package installer but it comes with
Error:Breaks existing package 'quanta' dependency klinkstatus (= 4:3.5.10-0ubuntu1)
why?
The problem is that there is no Quanta available for KDE4 and Quanta depends on the old version of KLinkStatus; therefore you should uninstall Quanta or ask for a better way to your distribution mantainers.
