Question Creating user accounts

Firstly, hello everyone. Please try not to laugh too hard, but I am a new-newbie to Linux and having a few problems in setting up user accounts. I am currently running Redhat Linux 6 and have tried the usual adduser (useradd) command but don't seem to get the full options displayed, i.e. password, full name etc. Could someone please put me out of my misery and give me an example of how to add users with the full options displayed? I promise to go out and buy myself a book soon and, perhaps, come back later to ask some more challenging questions! Many thanks.

You should do it as root,
/usr/sbin/useradd -c [comment] -d [ home-dir] -s [shell] -g [group] username
after this you can run passwd command to set the password for user
passwd username

In addition to those great ideas, there is also always a quick reference for most commands with man <command>; so man useradd would be what you are looking for.
