Creating Install Disks
I have the SUSE tree (11 disks I think) and want to create install disks from it. Sometime ago I did read the steps involved to do this but have since forgotten 99% of what I read.
Can someone present the basics to me or provide a link to a site that may have the steps? I would appreciate it. Thank you, rfburn |

Gee...
google? Uhhhh..... I'm not the brightest guy in the world, but google was the first stop I made. Granted my serch params may have been bad, but I found no help by way of google. Hate to have just join and show additude right away but why the crap would you even bother to have made reply to my question? Google. Really, thanks. |
sorry I did not see that this was your first post please forgive me, did you try google groups?
Also, I think that you can make a boot floppy and install from there. -Joey |
Ahhhhhh...
I'm likely just a bit cranky. No, I didn't try google groups but will. Thank you, rfburn |
Is there a reason why you can't install via ftp?

Slow conection.
I used the high speed at work to get the source tree. I suppose that I could copy the 11 cd's to a computer in my home network and install from there. Actually, that might work pretty good. |
also look into a harddrive install
