creating groups


I use RH9... I want to create users that can only access ftp or ssh.. or have only ftp and mail access and so on.... in small words I want to create users that don't have access to all services runed on the box. How can I create that ? Can smdy explain me ? or if you can recomend me a how-to ?
Please help! THX

you want the gui way? i like using kuser. it shows more than the gnome util.

anyway, type "kuser" in a shell terminal without the quotes. it's pretty easy to figure out how to add a group and how to put a user/users in that group.

bash: kuser: command not found

Another ideea ? Without installing kuser utility if it exists...
