creating bootable fedora 8 dvd from .iso file

Recently I got a dvd in which with other files i had one '.iso' file of Fedora 8. I want to make a bootable dvd of Fedora 8. Will it work if I just make a data dvd using nero where I copy the file? Or should I do something else?("create bootable disk" option in nero is not working as it asks for some bootable floppy and I have none!)

It is common mistake among newcomers to just make a copy of an iso or to make a "bootable disk" which DOS bootable. You are burning an iso. You are specially making a special disk which will boot from Linux. See e.g. "Burning a Linux ISO image on CD" (the same for a DVD) at http://polishlinux.org/installation/...o-image-on-cd/
