Creating a custom distro...
I hope this is the right place to post this question, since I'm not sure if this is a "newbie" type of question. But anywhere here it goes:
I have been a Linux user fro a few years now, and looking to get into creating my own distro. I've seen threads on forum posts before and people usually just suggest SuseStudio or Linux from Scratch. I find that SuseStudio does not give me the customization I need, and Linux from Scratch seems so advanced, I can never get it working even after following video tutorials, even ALFS. I have seen some toold that just make an iso based on your current machine, but those seem to be just to make a backup of your system. I want to create my own custom distro that I can distribute online to other users and maybe even have a community based around, something like Peppermint OS Linux for example.
Can anyone suggest a lesser-known option that can help me achieve a good way to create and distribute my own Linux distro?
Thanks!
