creating a broadband internet connection


i have just recently formatted my old computer to red hat 9 so i can use it as an internet gateway for my parents and my new (2 serparate computers, 3 in total including red hat gateway) windows xp home machines, however i cant seem to find the wizard or something so i can create the broadband internet connection so that i can share it to the 2 windows xp machines. any body know how i can do this ????

ip masquerading will allow you to share the internet connection.

do some google searches on this for a HOW TO.

thanks jax8, also do you know how to setup the said internet connection? i cant find any wizards or anything to do so

If the cables to the internet were connected to the computer, under the install I'm quite sure the internet is set up already.

but I don't know how Red Hat handles that

oh okie

oh okies, no they werent... i didnt even have the cables made till after the install.. had to chop a section out of an existing cable...
