Creating a backup of cobbler
Hello. I am in the process of creating an automated installation of Cobbler for a Cobbler machine I have running. On top of using replicate (To keep two machines running with the same cobbler images) I would also like to upload the images currently in cobbler to a versioning website so it can be rescued in case both machines break (For safety).
Cobbler works in the copy machine properly. Already tested mounting an image of an OS regularly.
The approach I am taking is to copy /var/www/cobbler and /var/lib/cobbler from one machine to another. I was expecting that by doing this, the images would be available for an install in the new cobbler, but that is not the case. By doing a cobbler check, I am told that I have to run reposync. But this would just recreate the content under /var/www/cobbler. Is there a way to make cobbler acknowledge the copied content? Skipping the need to reposync?
