Created a user account on slackware and now I cant enter root

Well I created a user account for Slackware and now I can't boot up into my root account, I don't have Lilo installed either so I am booting from the CD.
( not sure what version of Slackware it is but I got it within the last 6 months )

What do you mean boot into your root account? When booting, it should load the OS and then prompt you for a username login prompt to login to your system. And why didn't you install lilo or any other boot loader? Booting from the cdrom is going to boot the kernel from the cdrom, etc.
