Question Create Trash folder for items deleted by users on server

I'm a little new at this, I'm running an Linux Debian Server with about 10 users connecting to it. All the users have their docs/files stored on the server. When they delete them, they are deleted from the server, is there a way to create a temporary trash file for recovery purposes?

Create your own rm script, and make sure it's the first to show up in the path variable. Let it move the deleted files to a folder which gets cleared at your discretion.

Welcome to LQ!
There's a SEARCH button at the top of this page. You'll find lots of threads on this subject if you search for "rm trash"
You might also want to take a look at libtrash here:

You don't say what your distro is (Hint: You can edit your LQ profile), but it is probably available through your distro's package-manager.
