Hi and weclome to LinuxQuestions!

I found this article about a week ago:
http://www.linux-mag.com/2004-02/compile_01.html

I have the intention of reading it, but haven't had the time yet. But generally, Linux Magazine's articles are very good.

Good luck!
Martin

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your reply.

I have read the article, but for me it's to complicated ( I'm a newbie, specially in rpm stuff).

I also browsed from google, and I found this article :

http://users.netwit.net.au/~pursang/simplerpm.html

I think it's good for newbie like me to learn how to learn building rpm.

Singgih

Kylix 3 on RH-9 FC-1&2

Hi,

I've just read that you use Kylix 3 under Linux Red-Hat 9 / FC-2.
I've a litle problem about installing Kylix on Red-Hat 9 / FC-1or2.
I've succesfully install Kylix on RedHat 7.1-7.2-7.3, and it run rather good, but I want to upgrade to a more recent distribution, as FedoraCore 1 or 2.
When I try to use the installer script provide with Kylix 3, the install proccess never succed.
Have you install kylix with the standard install script or with an other way ?

thanks for any clue !

Samuel
