create chroot


what does it mean to creat a chroot "jail" for an ftp user

Same like a sandbox. The user's directory appears to him to be root directory. He cannot see outside of it.

Hi,
CHROOT is nothing but locking the user to there home directory .They never have permission to move out of there home directory
