Crazy mouse pointer on Puppy
Just installed Puppy Linux, last version, on a very old laptop (IBM Thinkpad R31), only 128 Mb ram.
After some adjustment, everything works fine, but... I lose control of mouse pointer every 30 seconds! In logs i read this: psmouse.c ... lost synchronization... What can I do? Thanks for your help |
You used "...": what was the complete log output?

Solution
Solved! I add to the kernel parameters "i8042.nomux=1" and everything works fine on my old laptop IBM! No more mouse errors, there is a similar post on bugs.launchpad with different parameters.
So, if you have the same problem, edit your /boot/grub/menu.lst and add that parameter. Great :D |
