CP command

I am trying to use the cp command to copy a folders and files from a FAT32 partition to a normal ext3 partition. I am in root
Code:
cp Folder /mnt/lin2
cp: omitting directory 'Folder'
No harddisk activity. I also tried with -df tags.

Why "Folder"?
Do only
cp /mnt/lin2

If you wanna copy recursively, do

cp -r /mnt/lin2

AND you have to give a destination.
