Counting the number of cfiles in a project

Can some one tell me how do i count the total number of cfiles in the project.My project is on a solaris machine what is the command that I have to run to know the total count of cfiles in the .pj folder.

What's a cfile? Do you mean C files?

find .pj -name "*.c" -print | wc -l
