I am trying to get my Brother printer HL-L2340DW installed on Linux Mint cinnamon 18.3 PC.I think I may have rebooted PC before my manual install was completed. My printer is identified and it says it is connected to localhost in printer app. When I try to print a document from LibreOffice I get an error that states :could not start printer.Please check your printer configuration. How do I do that? I followed the instuctions at easylinuxtips website and entered the two terminal commands and completed the process. I believe I have done everything correct except for maybe rebooting too quick at end of process. I have gunzip installed. How can I verify driver install? I did this install on a Live Linux DVD with persistent storage and had no problem.In that instance, it gave me an option to print a Test page. I did not have that option with the latest install.Please help.
