corrupted file in downloaded music now stuck in mp4's mini SD card
my mp4's mini SD card has LOTS of corrupted files that cant be deleted. there are also three usless programme that keep reappearing even after deleting them. HELP!
Have you considered these options:
-running a filesystem check on the card
-reformating the card
-throwing the card away because it may no longer be good
ok. there are all these blank files in my mini SD card that cant be deleted. there is also a file that keeps reappearing after deleting it. i tried reformating the card, its no use. the filesystem check is useless too
How old is the SD card?
How old is the SD device?
When you reformatted, did you run a blocks check on the card to make sure it's still good?
What device are you using to delete the files?
Have you tried using another device to delete the files?
What type of filesystem is on the SD card?
What are the exact locations and names of the files that can't be deleted?
What is the exact error you get when trying to delete the file?
Take your card out of your player and format (NOT delete) it in a SD card reader. You will probably need to use FAT16 (vfat) not FAT32. Might the corrupted files have something to do with DRM? Have you checked your files are still good (can you play them on the computer)?
What file keeps reappearing? Maybe it is needed by the player, or it is added by the OS.
