corrupt file system
I am running red hat 7.1 and I am having some problems
with the OS Booting. The file system is corrupt and request I run fsck manually but I am unsure of the correct format. Thanks In Advance Michael |
fsck info
first thing: make sure you fsck a partition/drive AFTER you unmount it. sometimes, the best way is to boot into single user mode and fsck from there - or from a boot disk. do a 'man fsck' to get info on how to us it. example:
fsck /dev/hda1 for your root partition |
