Corrupeted fstab

After following a thread to mount my /home directory in a bigger partition. I cannot start my Linux Mint. I think my problem is a spelling mistake in my fstab. Quoted the /home drive in partition sdb5 and not sda5 the correct partition. Any suggestions on how to edit the fstab to correct this error. Thanks
As an aside I created the partition by. stealimg it from Windows 7. I find LInux Mint to be a much better operating system and am gradually transferring files there to reduce and remove dependancy on Windows.

Boot to a liveCD
Mount the existing / partition
Edit fstab, fixing the erroneous entry.
Save, and reboot back to the local HDD.

With a live cd you will be able to access the file.

Had problems running gedit from terminal but got around it using nano. Full system control now restored. Thank you
