copying text from terminal

Hi

I want to copy the text from the terminal window and paste it in a text file. I am using Redhat 7.3. I see only the paste option in the terminal edit menu, but no copy option.

Can anyone let me know how to copy the selected text in terminal window.

Thanks for your time.

it's copied if you select it. then, leaving it selected, use the middle mouse button or the left+right together to paste it.
