Copying source files from CD to HD

Hi,

Does Suse Linux support copying source files from the CD to the hard drive lie in Windows where the i386 folder can be copied over to allow modifications without the CD ROM?

I just installed the ndiswrapper from the CD ROM but would like to rely on a copy sitting on my hard drive for easier access.

Sure. Copy them anywhere you wish and add that directory
to YaST2's package-sources.

Cheers,

Sorry, I'm not exactly sure what I would copy from the CD. Do I copy the whole CD or just a particular folder(s)?

no idea - I didn't use SuSE in ages. Check whether
there's directories with rpm in the name on the CD(s).
If so, that is what you want to copy.

Cheers,
Tink
