^if it doesnt work for him it mite be worthwhile to post the contents of your sources.lst simply because your mileage may vary.

i dont think it worked for me on knoppix-live-cd. when i do sudo apt-get update, i run out of ram and it freezes my system.

It has already been established that the guy is trying to install a program which is only available as pre-compiled binary for x86 systems on a PPC system. That's why he hasn't been able to get it to work. No amount of messing with source lists or running 'sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree' is going to change that.

lol thats rude arizona but yes schneidz i have tried that as well long ago to no avail this is just impossible there is not an available flash for my distro to my knowledge so thanks for the help

sorry you seemed to hit a brick wall.

yellow dog seems to be the flavor of choice for ps3; i came across this thread but it seems like more work than benefit and there's no guarentee of success.

ok pixelanny i have a question/request of you or whoever is reading this post Ok i have decided adobe is a bunch of pricks for not making a flash for me or anyone on a powerpc64

Ok here's a link to the info for what im looking at installing http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/release-0.8.4.txt

and heres the available files for download of this version ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/gnash/0.8.4/

Even the 0.8.3 if it would work for flash
OK heres what I wanna know it says in the txt that it is supported by non x86 machines and powerpc is supported would anyone know which version to download and how would i go about doing this?
