Copying entire directory with subdirectory?


Command cp *.* copy only files inside directory,and i need to copy all(subdirectoris and and everything inside them)What i need to type to copy all content inside directory?

cp -r -- the -r is for recursive, use -a if you want to preserve file modification times, etc.
