Copy text between terminals?

When I copy text with my mouse, is there a command to store that test so I can copy between terminals or at least between programs in the same terminal?

Yes, that is until you select a new bit of text. When you drag over the text you want to paste, it's automagically as they say, copied. You can paste it anywhere you feel like. Once you selectdrag over new text it copies that etc,... Optionally, you can use KDE's clipboard program 'klipper' to do stuff, yet more limited in my mind. Hope this helps.

hmm, maybe I am not using the proper paste command, when I select text with my mouse I can olny paste to the immediate command line. I have a bare bones WM so I don't have 'klipper', is there a keyboard command to paste VIA the command line?

Well, I think that you can use your middle mouse button if you have one. If you have a scroll mouse, press the scroller down. Not too sure though, as I can't try it, I am at work on W2k.
