Unhappy copy/paste in a terminal session

What does one have to do to get simple text copy/paste to work in a terminal session?

Thanks,

Third button

Wow! That sounds great! I would like to try it, too!
But wait a moment... It seems like having only two buttons.
Can I download the third one somewhere from the internet?

Usually you can emulate the third button by pressing both buttons at the same time. I think it depends on how your mouse is set up though.
