Where are cookies stored when using foxfire?

Firefox?
Edit menu -> Preferences -> Privacy and Security Cookies and Site Data section.
You can look at them (Manage) there, or delete them, if you want.

They are stored somewhere in the profile at
~/.mozilla/firefox/<randomchars>.default but messing around in that directory is NOT advised.

Hmmm. That location doesn't exist on my desktop running FF 60.5.0

I'll stand by my original advice. Don't mess with anything in the ~/.mozilla/firefox/ directory.
Use Preferences to manage cookies.
