converting .exe into .sh


how can I convert*.exe file into *.sh??

May I ask why you would want to do that? If you want to run windows programs within a linux environment, then you will require Wine, or similar alternatives such as CrossOver or Cedega (for games). I hope that helps.

You could of course, just rename it (mv filename.exe filename.sh), but I don't think that's what you meant... ".exe" is the extension normally associated with a Windows executable, and can only run in Linux as mentioned above.

Please tell us more about what you are trying to do.

I am trying to run the oracle imp utility i.e. placed at /app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/bin/imp

You have Oracle for Linux installed? If so, why would there be an .exe file?
