Hey,
I am new to Linux. I am currently using Suse 10.2 and I am trying to convert avi files to DVD format. I went to the following website: http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...dia/AVI_to_DVD however, whenever I try to install the needed software it says I need more software (transcode, ffmpeg, etc). I then go to install that software and it tells me they need more software. Is there any easy way to get the software so I can convert my avi's?
when I try to install ffmpeg it says I need the following "rtld, libavutil.so.49" I have rtld but when I try to install this it says its got to delete a lot of files. As well, the mencoder for mplayer says it needs libpng.so.2, which I have but when I try to add a newer version it also says it needs to delete a lot of files.
