qwijibow LQ Guru Registered: Apr 2003 Location: nottingham england Distribution: Gentoo Posts: 2,672 Rep:	convert .tar to rpm ? hi guys. is it possible to convert tar balls to rpm packages ? i hear that although binary's are easyer, compiling from source is more reliable as its ocmpiled for ur system and librarys ect ect.
