Microsoft office ( the installed and NOT the online office365) has NOT changed the way you import a csv file into a spread sheet

this is ALSO by the way THE SAME way in Libreoffice

open excel ( oo's calc)
and in "insert" "sheet from file" and insert a csv file into the spreed sheet
this has not changed in years
you could even use a MS office 2002 book for Office 2008 or 12
