Control over internet use for my kid

Just want to know is there any software out there that allow me to control my kid for accessing to unrelevant website? Appreciate if there is an advice. Thanks.

Yes there is. Quite a few options. Most of my experience has been a little more complex than what is probably needed at home. This following link is most likely sufficient. If not let me know and I'll try to help further.

If the suggested looks too comlicated then you could look at changing the configuration of the web browser manually, duckduckgo defaults to no explicit material, or some such, but that would not be a solution. I do not know of any other "denial" programs on linux of the kind you are looking for. It's a diificult one, even the commercial ones for Windoze are a bit ham-fisted and unless you run different users then you end up restricting youself as they tend to pick up on key words in searches.

Fred.

In my experience, kids are sophisticated computer users who have no problems circumventing software by using proxy servers or bootable usb sticks. I suggest you also investigate the filtering facilities of your modem/router hardware.
