Content Filter: DansGuardian + Squid

I'm interning for a small non-profit organization. This is this first time I've worked with Linux. My project is to implement a web content filter on the network using: CentOS, Squid (transparently), and DansGuardian. I've gotten CentOS up and running, tried to install Squid and DansGuardian but I'm not all to sure what I'm doing. After a couple weeks of re-installing the OS and learning my way with Linux I understand much more. The few questions I am having right now is what versions of DansGuardian and Squid should I use? I can't find a How-to that uses CentOS, but I don't think that matters. Mainly I have having trouble with the Squid configuration file. I'm not sure how to find the ALC information about my network. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it, I should have some more details posted tommorow. Thanks!!!

As for squid I'd go with the latest 2.6, it's very stable
despite the fact that it's still a development version, and
for the dansGuardian:$FILE/dansguardian-antivirus-6.4.4-1.src.rpm
It's a patched DG with AntiVirus support.

(Hope the link isn't based on my PHP session :} ... if it is,
start looking here: ).

You might find some helpful information in these two threads (fairly recent ones from the slackware forums).
