console c++ editor


is there a gui c++ compiler and editor that puts tabs in and opearates with mouse clicks :P

i just dont want to code in vi...

when i was a beginner to linux , i also searched for such an editer. but found none

I prefer joe. It's not as hard to use as vi (easier key combinations), but powerful. But it does not use mouse.

Console or GUI? your asking two different things.. For either case, try Emacs (for Console) or Xemacs (for something resembling a GUI).. or for that matter, Nedit or CoolEdit (Much more GUI

search the box network (linux.box.sk), google, or freshmeat for an editor called "Minimum Profit". Itīs a console editor with mouse support, auto indentation, and support for multiple language highlights.
