connection refused
hi guys,
i am getting a connection refused exception while trying to use rmi object created in a server machine from a client machine.
i am getting a "no route to host is the exception".
is this related with firewall settings
i tried my best in the web to find a solution and made several changes. but nothing is working for me.
i dont know what to do for the network settings, can you guys help me.

'No route to host' would suggest your attempted connection is being blocked, I would check your firewall settings.

hi guys,
since no comments about the iptables configuration, i think this is the best ( and may be the maximum) configuration that i can provide in my situation.
is it a problem that i have not restarted the iptables after making additional changes to the existing ones.
but once i restarted the iptables on the remote machine, i failed ssh access on the remote system.
any helps regarding this
