connection and install with peng

I installed peng and have it working fine except that it hangs on "Opening a session" so I decided to install the newer penggy and had problems with the install. I noticed that usr/local/sbin and other directories hold the executable files, but there is nothing in mine.

Any thoughts?

when I run make and make install i get these errors in case they help:

script.c:12-: too few arguments to function 'scm_eval'
make[3]: *** [script.o] Error 1
make[3]: leaving directory '/root/temp/penggy-0.2.1/src/modem'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: leaving directory '/root/temp/penggy-0.2.1/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive0 Error 1
make[1]: leaving directory '/root/temp/penggy-0.2.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2

If you can help with either of these problems I really appreciate it.
