Unhappy connecting Windows xp (guest) to fedora 9


In fact i have installed windows sp3 in fedora 9 virtual machine manager successfully. Now when i log on in Windows xp i cannot use the DVD drive.
If i insert a Cd windows xp cannot detect it. Even the pendrive cannot be detected by windows ...
Please help me

Thats b/c the vm has priority over the physical devices. I bet you'll find that the CD is available in either the physical host or the virtual host but not both.

im not sure how the fedora virtual manager works but vmware has a setting that you can use
