Question Connecting to the Internet Using Fedora

I'm trying to connect to the internet using fedora. My modem had USB connection. Not Cat5. I needed to install a new a new eithernet card. I inserted it. I need to know how to

1: Find my IP

2: Renew my IP

3: Enable my new card.

When I tried to renew it, It said it couldnt.

Please help me!@

Can't help with most of them, but to find your ip look in (at least on my Rh9 system):

However, I do not use a modem to connect to the internet.

If you are using dhcp try as root dhcpcd eth0 then ping -c 5
