Connecting to Cable line in SuSE 9.1 Personal

I just installed SuSE Linux 9.1 Personal, and, want to connect to the net. My ISP asks me to fill in the IP, Subnet mask, Default Gateway, and DNS server addresses. Though I can find the IP and Subnet Mask, I can't find the settings for the other two.
Please help me.
Also, when I install a program through YaST, I can't find it anywhere. Where is the default installation directories?
