Connecting to a Network

Hi
I have recently installed Redhat on my computer. My computer is on a LAN and I connect to the Internet using a default gateway. I can successfully connect to the net but when it comes to file sharing I'm completely lost. How do I share files and access other systems on the Network most of which are Windows based machines.

http://samba.org is *probably* already installed on your system and ready to roll.
