Smile Connecting eth0


Hi

I am new to Linux. I have installed RH 5 and try to activate the eth0.

I am getting eblow error

"Cannot connect to device eth0"

Pls help

What are the configuration friles to be checked updated to activate the eth0 device.

If you have installed the system with X and Gnome, then go to System > Administration > Network and then see if your device is recognized.

For more details post the output of following command in Code tags:

lspci -vv

ifconfig

It is shoiwng devise recogonised . The problem is the networ card is not activating
I tried to download the belo driver , But only windows version availbale on net

details of inbuilt network card

asus rampage formula N13219 network driver for linux

Please post the output of "ifconfig -a"

The problem rectified . After changing the network card .

It is working now and Server is up with Notes 8.5
with regards
