Conky Manager on Slacko

I'm using Slacko 6.3, 32-bit on my old XP laptops and 64-bit on my Windows 7 laptops. I want to set up conkys on them using the Conky Manager gui. Is Conky Manager compatible with Slacko? Is there a guide or thread about using Conky Manager on Slacko?

Thanks

Thanks for the links. I've read most of those threads before. Most people seem to use Conky period. It's almost like GUI is a dirty word in Linux. The vids I've seen on Youtube make setting up and customizing Conky with Conky Manager seem simple. I'm thinking my 2 options are to experiment on loading Conky Manager on Slacko or wait 'til I have time to get to know the ins and outs of Conky.
