Configuring grub

I got Linux installed and it seems to be working ok, but I want grub to select XP as the default OS to boot up and have Linux as an option. Right now its the opposite. How can I make XP the primary OS. On a second issue why does Grub list WinXP as "Other" on the selection menu.

Have a look at /boot/grub/menu.lst

There should be an entry along the lines of

default 0

Change this to the entry for Windows (note that counting starts at zero).

You can change the title to whatever you want
