Question configuring grub

hey there.

still trying to get my dual boot to work. i've got windows 98 and redhat 7.3. i'm booting redhat with grub and i want to add windows to the menu. i have windows on hda1, which is hidden. i also have another fat 32 partition on hda5 which is also hidden but has no OS.

i remade my linux partition with disk druid so i assume it made it a logical partition, therefore, i will no longer need to hide my windows partitions.

i have done some reading on grub but was hoping some of you experts could help me out in setting it up so i dont do any more damage.

thanx everyone

Hi,

To add an entry to accesss WIndows in grub edit the file /boot/grub/menu.lst, and add the following lines:

title = Microsoft Windows (tm)
unhide (hd0,0)
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
makeactive

I hope that help's ...
