configuring grub
hey there,
so i reinstalled linux and set grub as my bootloader (silly me). i'm now using kde and noticed it has a lilo config thing in the control panel but i didnt see any for grub. how do you configure grub??
also, i noticed there's a partitions section that lists all your partitions. i'm not sure my windows partition is even bootable but i have a floppy and the rescue disk that came with my pc. (windows 98 second ed)
when i made the partitions i think i made my linux partition primary and hid the windows partition. is there any ways to adjust those options? o yeah, when i reinstalled i got the installer to remove my linux partition and make a new one so that might've switched the linux from primary.
when installing it gave me the option to remove all partition and repartition using the one that came with redhat (v7.3). i didnt do it though cuz i hear that windows doesnt recognize linux and wasnt sure if it would do a good job making a partition for windows.
alright, so i just wanna know if i need to reformat my windows partition to make it bootable and how do i put it in the grub option so i can select it when i boot up.
thanx all
